About the Proprietor
Joann Noren is one of Marin County's most respected private home health care providers. Joann is a native of the Netherlands
who has spent 20 years in private nursing in Marin County. She was originally trained in home economics with an emphasis in
nutrition and is also a former restaurant owner.

The Marin Fountain is an assisted living facility located in a friendly and peaceful neighborhood in the Lucas Valley
area of San Rafael. At the Marin Fountain, having each resident feel at home is our highest priority. Privacy is respected,
with comfortable rooms that residents may personalize with their own furnishings. At the same time, expansive and inviting indoor and outdoor
common spaces facilitate interaction and welcome visits from family and friends.

The Marin Fountain features a comfortable and tastefully decorated interior with spacious common areas and an open, airy feeling.
Everything is on one level, so access is easy throughout. Quiet nooks allow opportunity for private time within the open
setting. A beautiful atrium, featuring cafe seating and a piano, serves as a special retreat to welcome visitor and resident alike.

The Marin Fountain is located in a highly desirable location surrounded by beautiful wooded hills. Its large garden includes stately oaks, fountains and offers different outdoor seating
areas for residents' enjoyment. The expansive windows throughout both the common and private areas of the residence bring
this beautiful outdoors in to enjoy throughout the day.
Convenient Location
The Marin Fountain's Lucas Valley location is in close proximity to many local shopping areas. It is
also an easy 30 minute drive from San Francisco.

The Marin Fountain's staff are both extraordinarily caring and superbly well trained. All staff members are fingerprinted, screened
and registered for your safety and peace of mind. You can count on having staff onsite at all times.

The Marin Fountain's varied, creative and attractively presented meals are always something to look forward to. They are carefully prepared with
wholesome and nutritious ingredients. Residents also enjoy between-meal tea and snacks each afternoon.
Healthful Living
Because fitness and well-being are essential to a happy, fulfilling life, exercise sessions are led by a staff member every morning
to help residents build and maintain strength, stamina, flexibility and mobility.
Going the Extra Mile
In addition to diet and exercise, we recognize that residents may also require supplemental medical and health support,
and gladly assist however possible. This may include specialized personalized assistance, including grooming and personal
care, assistance with bathing, massage, or other physical aid as needed.
As well, physician visit arrangements, medication monitoring and special dietary accommodations are provided as required.
The Marin Fountain also goes the extra mile in ensuring a clean and pleasant environment for its residents. In keeping
with that, no pets or smoking are permitted.
Cost and Availability
The Marin Fountain can accommodate up to six residents with a minimum age of 60. The cost is $4,500 per person per month, for singles in
private rooms, or $4,000 per person per month for couples or singles sharing a room.
